The Tanner Ranch includes 1,717 acres of beautiful mountain lands located just seven miles north of Montpelier, in Bear Lake County, Idaho. The nearby Bear Lake State Park is known as the "Caribbean of the Rockies", and real estate and development is booming in the area. The Tanner Ranch borders a mix of BLM, State, and Private lands, and controls grazing leases on several hundred additional acres of BLM and State of Idaho lands that adjoin the 1,717 deeded acres. The ranch has legal access from the a county maintained gravel road called Pescadero Road, and all services including a small county airport are located just south of the ranch in or around the city of Montpelier.
